The brief on this tonally elegant and streamline project has been incredibly significant from day 1 for our wonderful clients. MAKEROOM studio were engaged to resolve + rework the floor plan of the existing 3 bed apartment to allow for maximum mobility + flexibility, in response to the health needs of one of our clients.

Doorways were widened, a master suite relocated to encompass 2 rooms +  the more generously proportioned main bathroom. Spaces were zoned with greater focus on public + private retreat areas for rest - responding to natural light + noise levels.

The floor finishes were resolved seamlessly throughout, without the interruption of thresholds at doorways + wrapped holistically up wet area walls to meet new skylights strategically positioned that one might shower under the sky!

Joinery retreated into recesses + provided the ease of push touch access. Sliding panels + plasterboard niches in the main living area offered a discrete home for all lifestyle elements while seamlessly allowing the more generous open plan to be used in multitude different ways.
